I never take breaks. I’m not saying I shouldn’t but I decided to.
There’s a spot around the corner from me that plays pleasant jazz, cacti at the entrance, short. I got a Turkish coffee in a little saucer.
They have a tea cup set that reminds me of Dr. J. She had one like this with red roses I think, gold.
Antiques decorate many coffee shops here which I enjoy. Old cash registers. An old rotary phone acid yellow on a grey wall. Paintings, portraits not Western on a bright green wall. Empty frames too. People say Türkiye is east meets west but - sorry just saw a Christmas decoration, a bell hanging on a glass door to a “she’s on her way” instrumental.
Figuring it out a little more every day.
It’s true though, I feel that way.
Anyway. I can’t quite describe it yet. It’s Turkey.
Not sure yet about the draft. Finished my coffee so back to it. I left off at race car driving…I’ll see if this works. Pushing ahead, trying to keep the thread. Might lose it and pick it up again. I’m just figuring this flow out, putting it together.
I have gotten to the end but now I’m onto the language and crafting part, I think, so that’s where I’m at. It’s getting there, I really don’t sweat moments where I’m not sure or am trying something out, at least, I’m at this stage. Anyway, back to the page! Trying to get it done before Christmas. Don’t feel like moving.
Happy afternoon.
