Hi, I’m Maria Mocerino. I’m a proud “Little Sister of America,” and some people actually believe I am Professor X’s protégée.

A writer for ten years, I’ve covered everything from arts & entertainment to health & wellness. I’ve interviewed superstars such as Barbara Harris and Danai Gurira and reported on an a group of orphan acrobats in Ethiopia that uplift terminally ill children in hospitals as doctor clowns. I’ve explored trauma, what health means in business and justice. My creative work has been published in numerous journals. An interview with Native America healer landed in a book aiming to amplify women’s voices in psychedelics. I’ve given talks on storytelling for businesses. Currently covering science news, I was featured on Dinge podcast for my archaeology reporting, so I’m digging deep and reaching for the stars, for sure.

As I landed on the cover of Vogue Italia in Sept 2020, they believe I’m “getting closer to the psyche and its mechanisms,” which is hilarious. There are many people out there who believe that I am psychic - why? Because I come from a really crazy family story, so Vogue might be right.
